Amenities

Kitchen: For your comfort, we have a fully stocked kitchen. Pots, pans, toaster, blender, utensils and everything needed for cooking can be found in this kitchen. The most common question we have is what type of coffee maker do you have. We have a standard coffee maker, not a keurig. We no longer keep all of the spices out because of possible contamination. We have 2 large freezers and fridges available for your use in the kitchen and laundry room. There is also a propane grill available for you near the pool. If you need to do laundry during your stay, you have full access to our full-sized washer and dryer. There will be paper towels and toilet paper supplied for you. Bring extras in case you run out or feel free to run up to PK General Store for more supplies. The General Store has all the basic foods and supplies you would need.

Refrigerator: 2 large refrigerators and freezers are in this property

Coffee Maker: Standard Coffee Maker, Please bring your own coffee supplies

Barbeque/Grill Utensils: Gas Grill and Black stone grill

Fireplace: Gas Fireplace in the living room

Firewood Provided: Firewood provided for 1 fire in fire pit. Please bring your own wood if you plan on having lots of fires.

Wifi: The wifi information will be in packet when you arrive. We are in the country so the wifi may be spotty during busy times. We have no control over this.

Desk: Small desk upstairs living room

Printer: In living room cabinet

Television: TV in upstairs and downstairs living room and also outside on patio

Game Room: Garage Game Room with poop table, shuffle board and darts. The sound on the cliff line really echoes. Please respect others by keeping noise down when outside. There is a noise ordinance in place for Sportsmans World of 10 PM. Any music or yelling noise can be carried for up to a mile on the cliffline. Please have a blast and play games in the garage if you want to stay up later but to respect the neighbors we ask for you to shut the glass door in the garage so the noise doesn’t carry.

Hot Tub: ***Hot Tub: The hot tub is drained and cleaned before each new guest arrives. Please rinse off before you get into the hot tub to remove any sunscreens, lotions, or hair products that will dirty the tub and its water. To keep the hot tub temperature up be sure to put the cover back on it when not in use. If you use the hot tub please make sure to use the chemicals to clean it daily or the water will get cloudy fast. There is a chemical bucket hanging on the towel rack on the patio. It tells you how much to use. There will not be a way to get the hot tub cleaned during your stay so this is very important.

Outdoor Grill: Gas Grill. Please make sure to turn off the gas after you use the grill!

Boat Available: Boat Policy: If you bring your own boat or jet skis, feel free to park it at our dock. Bluff Creek Marina is less than 1 mile away and you can drop your boat in the water there. They do charge a $25 fee for using the marina. Please check in there to pay that fee. Once your boat is in the water you can park your trailer on the side of our house. We have a separate swing gate on the side of our driveway specifically for trailers. If you do not bring your own boat or jet skis then feel free to rent from one of the marinas on the lake.

Kayak/Canoe: Kayaks and Paddleboards: We’re pleased to offer you 4 children’s kayaks, 2 adult kayaks and 1 adult paddle board during your stay. Make sure you account for all paddles and store them before you leave the dock each time. There is one paddle per kayak and/or paddleboard. There is a paddle hanging rack located underneath the dock stairs and this is where they should be stored when not in use. There are other locked up kayaks that unfortunately can not be used. These are difficult to set up and are not available for use.

Sunroof/Roof Terrace: Dock: We are pleased to provide you with a dock to help you enjoy the lake. It is one of our favorite things about this home. However, use at your own risk. Ther water is very deep (30+ feet) and can be difficult to see through depending on lake conditions. Our personal family rule is that everyone must wear a life jacket once they leave the back patio and begin going down the stairs toward the dock and they must remain on until they get back to the patio. Life Jackets: There is a drying rack behind the fire pit on the back patio for you to use. Dock Swing: This is another family favorite, but please use cautiously and at your own risk. Please shut the gate if not in use.

Fire Pit: Outdoor Fire Pit: We are happy to supply you with several logs for your fire. I would bring some of your own if you plan on having several fires. For your safety, please remember to close the lid at night if the fire is still smoldering. Please use common sense and do not do an outdoor fire if it is too windy outside.

Fenced Yard: Gate: The gate for our property is on the right side of our house. The gate is manual. There is another swing gate on the side of the house that is for parking your trailers. Feel free to use that area. Also, make sure all gates are shut at night because we are in the country and hogs will destroy the yard.

Outdoor Dining: Large dining able outside patio
