- A 16 mile hike and bike trail is located off LaVilla Road, Park Road 36 and Burma Road on the east side of the lake area. This trail offers several trailheads with restrooms and public parking, as well as access to a 90′ high peak that boasts an outstanding view of the lake. You’ll be able to explore the beauty of the wooded areas, limestone canyons, and peak at more than 350 feet above the lake. Designed to preserve the natural habitat, the trail system ensures that visitors can enjoy the wilderness as it is native to the PK area.
- One-quarter mile nature trail at Westside Park (west side PK lake area).
- One-mile hiking trail along the Brazos River (below the dam).
These hike and bike trails are free to the public and are available year-around (weather permitting).
