This cove area is huge and is filled with boats in the summer, so make sure you arrive early on the Fourth of July weekend to secure your spot. People come from all over Texas to see this fireworks show, and it’s one of a kind – you have to see it in person to believe it. Another must-see event is the the annual Red Bull cliff diving competition. This event is not for the faint of heart and is for professional divers only. As cliff diving is illegal for most of the year, we do not recommend diving from the cliffs, but watching the competition is a must-see!
